From Passion to Profession: My Journey as a Preloved Luxury Sourcer

The Spark of Inspiration

Growing up, I was always mesmerized by the world of fashion. Whether it was watching runway shows or flipping through glossy magazines, I couldn’t get enough of the craftsmanship and the stories behind every designer piece. Fast forward to my university days in Liverpool, where I studied Fashion Marketing and Communication. My degree gave me a whole new perspective—it wasn’t just about style; it was about storytelling, branding, and sustainability. That last part really hit home for me.

The Birth of an Idea

After graduating with a first-class degree, I jumped into the fashion industry, working in a variety of roles over three years. One of my most exciting experiences was at a Luxury preloved reseller. It was there I discovered my talent for finding unique luxury items. There’s something magical about connecting someone with a piece they’ve been dreaming of—whether it’s a classic Chanel bag or a pair of stunning Gucci heels. I even helped them source over 400 items a week, playing a big part in scaling their business.

But something was missing. I wanted to create something of my own—something that didn’t just celebrate luxury but also championed sustainability. That’s how Reloved Vault was born: a space where designer treasures find new homes and fashion becomes more circular.

Turning Passion Into Action

Starting Reloved Vault was both thrilling and a little scary. I knew I wanted to make luxury accessible and sustainable, but I also wanted every piece to come with a guarantee of authenticity and quality. It’s been a journey of learning and growing, but so worth it.

One of my favorite moments so far? Sourcing a Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Mini for a client who had been searching for it for two years. Not only did I find it, but I managed to stick to her budget too. Seeing her joy reminded me exactly why I do this: to make people’s luxury dreams come true.

Why Sustainability Matters

For me, preloved luxury isn’t just a business—it’s a movement. Every item we give a second life to is one less piece heading to landfill. It’s a way to embrace circular fashion while still indulging in the beauty of designer craftsmanship. I truly believe fashion can be both stylish and sustainable, and Reloved Vault is my way of proving that.
